Service and accounts

You must provide accurate account information, keep your Discord account secure, and be legally able to enter this agreement. You are responsible for activity on servers attached to your account. If ottr later offers a paid plan and you choose it, you must also provide accurate billing information.

Free early access and fair use

Free early access includes one Palworld server per verified Discord account, subject to available capacity. World sizes support 1–8 players. The allowance is 150 hours each month while the server is running; time while it is asleep does not count.

At the fair-use threshold, ottr may shorten empty-server sleep timers. We do not deliberately interrupt an active play session to enforce the threshold. Free early access may change or end with reasonable notice.

If paid plans become available, their prices, included use, renewal, and cancellation terms will be shown before checkout.

World data and removal

Before an automatic sleep, ottr asks Palworld to save to persistent storage. While a server is awake, automated backups are scheduled every six hours and retained for seven days. These safeguards are not a substitute for any separate copy you require.

Removing a free server schedules a final infrastructure snapshot before teardown. Data may become unrecoverable after removal. Any future paid-plan recovery period will be disclosed with that plan.

Availability and changes

Wake-up took about 15 seconds on our Toronto reference deployment, but it is not an availability guarantee. Maintenance, upstream provider failures, game updates, and events outside our control can interrupt service. We may update the service or these terms and will provide reasonable notice of material changes.

Acceptable use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may limit or suspend service when necessary to protect customers, infrastructure, or the public.

Third-party game

ottr is an unofficial Palworld hosting service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pocketpair. Your use of Palworld remains subject to the game publisher’s applicable terms.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without guarantees beyond those expressly stated here. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
