Acceptable Use Policy

Do not misuse the service

You may not use ottr to:

• break laws, infringe rights, harass people, or distribute harmful content;
• attack, scan, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any system or account;
• distribute malware, operate botnets, mine cryptocurrency, or run unrelated workloads;
• bypass plan limits, wake-rate controls, billing, or security mechanisms;
• resell access without written permission or misrepresent affiliation with ottr;
• publish credentials, exploit other customers, or interfere with their servers.

Resource use

Servers must be used for their supported game workload. Automated traffic, abusive reconnect loops, and intentional resource exhaustion are prohibited. Fair-use sleep policies are part of each plan.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected abuse and rate-limit, suspend, or terminate affected services. When practical and safe, we will explain the issue and provide an opportunity to correct it. Serious or urgent threats may require immediate action.

Reporting

Report suspected abuse through any support destination published on ottr.gg, with enough detail for us to identify the server and investigate.
